Confined

Bars bare down around us,
We're encircled by the gates
Trapping us in our own living hell.
This hell in our mind,
Know its timeless.
This thing we can't escape,
You're spineless.
Running in circles within our own gates.
A community alone;
A firey entrapment.

Good luck getting out with your brain;
I lost mine.
Somewhere you can't run from,
Like my mind is.

Push back the walls and they press tighter,
Squeeze the sanity out,
Leaves you grasping as it flees from the bars.
You can't reach.

Closterphobia
Gut wrenching and mindless.
You traverse the inches left,
As you realize you're not dead.
Shaking the bars
Screaming a silent "let me out!"
Free me from these nauseating walls,
Let me bathe in sanity beyond my own bars.
I miss the sunlight upon my lips,
A taste so foreign to my tounge.
Pseudo-prison freedom i beg,
Free me from my mind.
Free me from the confines of my head.
Hell isn't prison like your mind is.
