Sculpting a Life

Sclupted from clay,
Nurtured day to day.
All that i've become,
All i'll ever be.
You don't hear it enough,
But I love you,
Believe me.
You've been there from day one,
Your soft hands carefully scuplting each day.
Patient;
Never rushed.
A slip or two left notches of character.
All I am is based off all you've made me.

Searching for a princess,
You took on a heavy burden.
Each day you act as if the pleasure is all yours.
This sclupture you've created,
Will always be your princess.

Chasing Rain

The clouds roll quickly past,
Another storm comes to its end.
I sit in silence
With tears for unwanted friends.
I'd chase you down
Or follow you home.
Will you keep me,
If i tell you you're not alone?
Or will i just keep running in circles,
Following never ending rain.
Avoiding them
To avoid the pain.
At least with this venture
I'll feel free to cry,
Because i'm standing here
Under a sad sky.
Remember how we danced
On that stormy july night?
A cliche romance
On the balcony i felt so high.
The lightning could've struck me down,
Had you really given me wings to fly.

Now i traverse the states,
Aching and soggy.
Eyes on the wet pavement
As i add to the rain.
I know i said i'd always be there,
But i had to run away.
I'm running after sad skies,
So none of you will see me cry.
I'm all alone,
Chasing the rain.

Another Picture Edit

Confined

Bars bare down around us,
We're encircled by the gates
Trapping us in our own living hell.
This hell in our mind,
Know its timeless.
This thing we can't escape,
You're spineless.
Running in circles within our own gates.
A community alone;
A firey entrapment.

Good luck getting out with your brain;
I lost mine.
Somewhere you can't run from,
Like my mind is.

Push back the walls and they press tighter,
Squeeze the sanity out,
Leaves you grasping as it flees from the bars.
You can't reach.

Closterphobia
Gut wrenching and mindless.
You traverse the inches left,
As you realize you're not dead.
Shaking the bars
Screaming a silent "let me out!"
Free me from these nauseating walls,
Let me bathe in sanity beyond my own bars.
I miss the sunlight upon my lips,
A taste so foreign to my tounge.
Pseudo-prison freedom i beg,
Free me from my mind.
Free me from the confines of my head.
Hell isn't prison like your mind is.

Where do we go when we die?

My dog died this morning, and this is my uncensored train of thought, without stopping.
I finally found the answer to this question. You go nowhere. You become a memory. You become an absence in the universe. I look to the corner of the room where your cage used to be. You slept there every night. You physically go into a dark hole in the ground, or your body is burned. I’ve been told that you were buried in a nice spot in our back yard. Your “soul” or your emotion, or thoughts… well, they go in many different directions. Your soul becomes the part that is a memory. You only survive in the thoughts of the people who you’ve touched in your life. Maybe that’s why we all have some type of instinct to desire fame…? We all want to touch as many people as we possibly can, so that we’re always on someone’s mind, thus living on forever. For every moment, after ones death, that they are not on the minds of the people who they affected, they are surrounded by only blackness. When their memory surfaces it’s like they are watching us; like they are still alive. Every living thing instinctively desires life, because its all they’ve ever known. The more people who remember us, the more frequently we’ll live, even if we are physically nonexistent. Heaven doesn’t exist. Hell doesn’t exist. But life does. If you’re reading this that means you’re living, and it means that someday you’ll die. But maybe you’ll survive forever on memory. So maybe it doesn’t matter what people think of us, but just that they are thinking of us. That’s all it takes for us to live on forever.

Check Your References

We find answers and truth on opposite sides of the spectrum.
The difference from what is said and what we know,
Something, at times, impossible to recognize.
If only spoken word was always sealed,
With a promise of accuracy.
From mouth to ear, to brain and to mouth again.
The cycle repeats.
Stupidity;
As viscious as slander.
Tripping over your quick tounge,
Spiked like satans horns,
Sour as salt.
A mouth kept dry
By stupidity and nude lies.
For each nescient word,
Spills tears from one more eye.
How much salt will fall?
Oceans will succumb,
But at what point will you realize
This is what it's like to cry?

Louder Now

Actions speak louder than words
So we're just going to scream
Until the actions can't be heard.
We won't back down,
You won't push us back.
We're stronger now,
Pressure won't make us crack.

Insufferable Possibilities

Passions beat upon the screen.
You say you love me
But what does it mean?
I'm wishing for you to be the last i see,
But dying is in the past.
Not what i am,
But what i've been.

Illogical, incomprehendable emotions,
They beat upon my soul.
A heart is just an organ,
But it beats for you,
Doesn't it?

Hooks peirce my sides,
I'm tugged in either direction;
My courage slowly dies.
Which is the right decision?
Left or right?
You think i'd lose my will,
But i'm inspired to fight.

The honesty was on the surface;
Clearly visible through the miles.
Why didn't i see it,
Lying in front of my eyes?
You left and my hopes vanished.
But now i've realized.

Our feelings are mutual,
I know i can't decide.

Verb Without Action

Anyone who dances is a dancer,
Anyone who takes photographs is a photographer,
But not everyone who loves is a lover.
Love dosn't have to be a motion,
Or any action at all.
Love is the simplest of things;
Hold my hand
Walk me home,
Kiss me goodnight
And then i'll know.

What If?

What could be
Never happened.
Certainly the thought traverses your mind from time to time.
"what if..?"
Nobody can know.
Just shut up!
Its over now.
Either decision would have ended in "what if...?"
Either decision would have ended in pain;
Pain fueled by curiosity.
It is possible that curiosity killed the cat,
But you're not a feline.
So what did curiosity do to you?
Have you fallen victim to a racing mind?
Have you not a chaotic life?

Recovery

Every story has its ending.
Everything built must fall apart.
What is broken is unbending.
Sucess is only for the strong at heart.
A sense of doom which is impending;
Every ending has its start.

Not so feeble minded;
Only faint at heart.
My aches begin their mending;
I watch as you depart.

Something above comprehending.
My love for you remains;
Unending.
